Editing text and pictures in a Web Page

The 'Presentation' page above (Fig 1.0) is what you are currently viewing and is used for adding and editing text and pictures in a web page.
When adding to and editing your website text and pictures it is important to firstly consider how search engines work:
Search Engine Optimizing:
Primarily, Search Engines like Google (www.google.com)
look for three things in your web page to give it a higher ranking over other
similar websites:
1. The web page title
2. The web page description
3. Web page key words

need to be below 100kb in file size to upload to a web page successfully.

The most important control for uploading images is the browse button which allows you to browse your computer and select which picture you would like to use.

Blow up picture: Tick to display the uploaded image as a small image which pops up a larger image when clicked on. |

Border: Tick to add a nice border to the image |
![]() Description: Add a description to the uploaded image (good for search engines) |

Show text below pic: Tick to show the added description below the uploaded picture (not necessary to do for all picures) |

Tick to delete: If a picture is already uploaded onto the viewed text block, you can tick ‘tick to delete’ to delete it |

New Window: Tick to have a hyperlinked image open a new browser window for the linked web page |

Format Selector: Define what type of file has been uploaded (image, Virutal Tour, or pdf). This control is for advanced users only. |
| Save: The ‘Save’ button will save all your work on the web page and send you back to the Site Administration Page. |

| Save and Preview: The ‘Save and Preview’ button will save your work and allow you to see the completed web page as the public would see it. |
